94 Feet is a 2016 Christian film starring Larry Wilcox, Jeremy Childs, Charles Jenkins. It was directed and written by Chip Rosetti and was produced by FortySixTen Studios and Rossetti Productions. If you’re interested in finding out more about this film after our review, you can find it on our website at www.fishflix.com.

An industry that has sustained a town for over 100 years, announces that it is closing its doors. A family that has been the cornerstone of the community, has given up. The only thing that can save the dying little town… IS AN UNSPEAKABLE TRAGEDY. From Chip Rossetti, the writer and director of FATHERS, THE ACCIDENTAL MISSIONARY and THE BORROWED CHRISTMAS, comes a faith based adventure into the HEART of a family, and the CORE of a mountain. 94 FEET.

At its core, 94 feet is a wonderful retelling of the gospel message. It contains a variety of stories of people from all walks of life and all of this combines to create a powerful message of hope and faith. No matter what your background is, you will find a character to identify with in this powerful testimony.

If I have one fault with this film, it would be that the lower budget really begins to show. However, I appreciate that they were able to take what they could and produce a powerful message with a great heart. I appreciate the definitely genuine nature of this film. You can tell that the filmmakers most definitely have a heart for what they’re trying to convey. They want to live out their faith and they’re using their gifts in filmmaking to impact the world as best they can.

I always say to these people that I appreciate them taking what they have, including their limitations and doing everything in their power to deliver a solid film. And as always, they will take what they learn from the making of this film, and hopefully create an even better film next time. I did begin to enjoy the smaller feel of this film. One of my favorite scenes in the movie does a terrific job of walking us through the town, giving us a history of the town and showing us what all has transpired here over the last 100 years. It helps us to identify and relate with the characters.

94 Feet is a smaller film produced by a smaller group of people but it still packs in a great message of redemption and grace. This is a great film to take non-believers too as it lays out a simple and straightforward plan for salvation and how to find new hope in Jesus Christ. While the film can be heavy-handed and preachy at times, it still delivers a terrific and timeless message. I really enjoyed 94 Feet and would definitely recommend you check it out. It has a lot of heart and a wonderful message that I think is well worth your time.

This movie is family-friendly, with only one mention of a woman having an affair. However, this is a brief moment and the film shows her coming to God later on. We like to follow the Dove Foundation which approves this movie for ages 12 and up. But as always, we recommend that you watch the movie first and decide if it’s appropriate for your particular family.
