Christian media is slowly but surely making its way into the spotlight. This is made evident by the fact that there are more Christian movies coming out in theaters this year than ever before. Son of God, Noah, Heaven is For Real, and many more Faith-inspired films are hitting the big screen in an effort to bring the attention and conversations of millions of people to the truths brought forth in the Bible.
There has been much debate already as to the validity of these films in regard to their scriptural accuracy. While their individual scripts may not have been copied and pasted from the Bible themselves, these projects are sure to get the ball rolling for great questions and conversations to follow. Rather than complaining about their content, Christians can take advantage of this opportunity to reach out to their unsaved loved ones in regard to their narratives and overall themes. At the end of the day, any discussion about the details of the Bible trumps no discussion about the Bible.
Son of God: From Mark Burnett and Roma Downey, the makers of The Bible Miniseries, comes a film detailing the entire life of Jesus Christ. This is the first full-length feature film about the Life of Christ to come out in theaters since the Passion of the Christ.
Noah: Darren Aronofsky directs as Russell Crowe, Jennifer Connelly, and Emma Watson star in this epic tale of God’s Word brought to life. Watch as the story of Noah builds your faith while causing you to visual what you may not have thought of before.
Heaven is For Real: When a young boy visits heaven and returns, his father, family and entire town are all up in arms over this unbelievable yet beautiful claim.
